Cute as a button

what the button wore when…carefree in Chelsea

Today is a special Monday -it’s bank holiday Monday, also known as Brunch O’ Clock!

To make the most of the gift of a free day to play in the sunshine, Ms Button was up bright and early and headed to the King’s Road.

Gap khakis are ideal trousers for this weather- the first flash of ankle for the spring looks chic when about town and the utility fabric is ideal for lying on the grass during an afternoon doze in Battersea Park.

The anchor print is sweet and playful and takes centre stage- pictured here with a classic white t shirt, a black Vivienne Westwood Red Label suit jacket, Tiffany & Co beads and faithful, comfortable Topshop penny loafers. Ms Button’s current style staples- a Mulberry Alexa and Ray Ban Wayfarers remain in season and in situ.

What do you think? Should we button it?
